The History of Claudio Anselmi
Our butcher's shop was founded in 1924 by Giuseppe Anselmi, grandfather of Claudio Remo, the current owner who has been running the business for almost 40 years. The business was extensively remodelled and renovated in 1993. Even today, the artisanal nature of our butcher's shop stays true to tradition.
Stages of production
We only and exclusively select the meat from the finest Italian cattle and pigs, which become quality Anselmi products following our meticulous stages of production. The exceptionally high quality of our selected raw ingredients is preserved before processing, with the use of refrigerated rooms in order to avoid the growth of microorganisms. According to the regulations in force and in order to give the customer further guarantees, for years the butcher's shop has been using a traceability system, meaning that it is always possible to identify the raw ingredients and products along all the phases of the production chain, in order to provide the consumer with all the information they need about the origin and processing of their purchased goods.

At Anselmi we don’t just sell meat! Over the years, we have enriched our product portfolio to offer a wealth of products, from the native mushrooms and small fruits of our territory to bread and pasta, as well as sweet and savoury foods, fish and game.
