5 villages · Val di Sole
Dimaro, Carciato, Folgarida, Monclassico, and Presson: each village has its own character, its own history, its own rhythm.
01 · Main village
A pearl nestled between the Val di Sole, the Brenta Dolomites, the Natural Park, and the Ski Area, Dimaro Folgarida is the ideal gateway to the Val di Sole and its side valleys of Rabbi and Pejo, which together form the Trentino side of the Stelvio National Park.
Enjoying an absolutely central position, Dimaro Folgarida is the perfect destination for lovers of an active holiday: the starting point for endless summer excursions, a crossroads in the valley floor where the Noce river, the cycle path and shops selling typical products coexist.
02 · Tradition and cutting-edge facilities
Along the banks of the Meledrio stream and in the shadow of the legendary Sasso Rosso lies Carciato, a small, typically Alpine village just a stone's throw from Dimaro. Here, you'll find the Sports Center that hosts Serie A teams for their pre-season training camps every summer.
03 · At altitude
Right at the arrival point of the Folgarida and Belvedere cable cars, everything is designed for Alpine skiing: ski-in/ski-out hotels, rental shops, ski schools, and lifts are all within easy reach. The Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta ski area, with 150 km of connected slopes, starts here.
In summer, Folgarida transforms: the trails of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park open up, and the fresh air at 1,300 meters makes every hike enjoyable.
04 · Art and Agriculture
More than 50 artistic sundials decorate the houses along the streets of the two small villages. Immersed in the slow pulse of an ancient town, the cradle of forgotten crafts and enduring traditions, we let the sundials lead us on a journey born of pride and memory.
Monclassico sundialsMonclassico and Presson also embody the agricultural spirit of Dimaro Folgarida: here the apples of the Melinda Consortium ripen, fruits of sun and patience.
