A lovely outing in Val di Sole’s woods to hunt for mushrooms. Each type of mushroom has its own unique characteristics that are linked to its habitat and our expert mycologists will show you how to spot the differences and similarities.

Thanks to our mycologists you’ll be able to tell which mushrooms are edible and which are poisonous or in some cases deadly. 


WHO ARE WE

We are expert mycologists, part of the Gruppo Micologico G. Bresadola Val di Sole, established in 1987 with more than 120 members. Giacomo Bresadola was one of the most famous Italian mycologists.

In case of bad weather, the activity will be canceled.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

Mushroom picking permit: Included in the fee.
Expert guidance: Thanks to the mycologist's help, you will have the opportunity to understand if the mushrooms you find are edible, toxic, or even deadly.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED

For harvesting, it is necessary to bring a rigid, ventilated basket and a knife to clean the mushrooms you pick.
It may be necessary to drive a section of the road with your own car.

WHAT TO BRING

The forest trails involve minimal elevation changes, but the terrain is uneven and trekking shoes are highly recommended. You should wear comfortable clothes, long pants (legs must always be covered!), and sturdy footwear suitable for slippery and uneven ground.
