WHAT TO EXPECT/ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Do you know what a sundial is? A solar clock already used in ancient Egypt. Along the streets of Monclassico and Presson there are 60 painted sundials on the walls of the houses. A unique place in Europe, a true open-air museum! With Attilio you will be able to understand how a sundial works and learn the names of the artists. The experience will begin with a tasting of a typical drink: have you ever tasted apple juice?

INTERESTING FACTS/INFO

You’ll see a rare example of a «camera obscura» meridian, also called a noon mark: There are only 6 like this in all of Italy. A unique interactive experience.
