Porcini and chanterelles have always been the most coveted prize of all those who venture out to look for them, but there are many other edible mushrooms in the Dimaro Folgarida woods.
With a single permit, you can collect mushrooms throughout the entire territory of the Sole, Pejo and Rabbi valleys. There are many ways to buy mushroom-picking permits in Val di Sole:
● online, via the www.geoticket.it website or the Geoticket app;
● at the ATMs of the Cassa Rurale Val di Sole;
● at the tourist information offices in Dimaro Folgarida;
● by postal account no. 89384242 made out to: Azienda per il Turismo delle Valli di Sole, Peio and Rabbi via Marconi, 7 - 38027 Malè indicating in the reason for payment the words “tassa per la raccolta di funghi” [fee for mushroom collecting], the details of the person concerned and the exact period that the picking will be carried out.
The Associazione Micologica Bresadola is always available to help identify edible and non-edible mushrooms.
